Live Certificate Program — a new benefit for Provident insureds

Proof of coverage that's always live.

Your certificate of insurance — on your phone, current the moment anyone checks, and shareable with a client in seconds.

What you get

  • Always current

Clients see your real, in-force coverage — never a stale PDF that's outdated the day it's filed.

  • Share in seconds

Text or email a private link to any client, right from your phone — no call to the office.

  • Win the job

Send verifiable proof on the spot instead of making a client wait on paperwork.

  • Alerts, handled for you

Your clients can opt in to be notified automatically if coverage renews or changes.

How it works

  1. 1

    We set you up

Provident issues your certificate and sends you a private link — add it to your phone's home screen like an app.

  2. 2

    Share it anywhere

One tap to text or email a client a live link to your coverage — anytime a job needs proof.

  3. 3

    Stay effortless

It updates itself, and the clients you share with stay in the loop automatically.

Included with your coverage.

Live Certificate questions

What exactly is a live certificate?

It's a private web link to your proof of coverage that reflects your coverage as it currently stands, instead of a static document saved to someone's desktop. You open it on your phone and share it with a client in seconds.

Do I have to install an app?

No. There's nothing to install. You can add the link to your phone's home screen so it opens like an app, but it's just a link.

Does the live certificate bind or change my coverage?

No. It is a way to show proof of coverage. It does not bind coverage and it does not issue ACORD forms. Coverage is bound by the carrier and confirmed in writing by a licensed agent.

Can my clients be notified if something changes?

Yes. Clients you share with can opt in to automatic alerts on renewal or change, so you don't have to remember to resend anything.

What does it cost?

It's included with your coverage as a benefit for Provident insureds.
